2023 MCMC Recap
With a return to Cambridge, MD and the Chesapeake Bay Hyatt Regency, attendees enjoyed a gorgeous landscape and top-of-the-line hospitality! Attendees got to work upon arrival by attending their respective Board of Director's Meetings, and once the important work of the day was complete, we merged into an evening of poolside fun with our popular "Aloha Night". We dined on traditional Hawaiian foods accompanied by delicious signature cocktails.
Day 2 is when all the big action happens! We began the day with breakfast and an energetic presentation from author, columnist and small business strategist, Gene Marks. He captivated the room and shared valuable and actionable advice for listeners. Next up was a combined presentation from the public and private sectors dedicated to Maryland's Bridges, followed by MDTA's update on the Chesapeake Bay Crossing Study and the Automatic Lane Closure Project. With stimulated minds and PDH's earned our guests then headed-out to enjoy one of several exciting outdoor activities. It was a perfect day for golf at River Marsh, as well as fishing and kayaking on the Choptank River!
We ended this spectacular summer gathering with games and fun awards while dining on an outstanding raw seafood bar and crab cakes, perfectly fitting to our "Maryland" theme. The after-hours revelry is a time to reflect on a fun few days of networking with industry professionals who have come to anticipate this conference as the place to be each June!
